Success-event definition
The success bonus is payable only on an objectively defined event — defined here, in advance, in writing.
1. Definition
A success event occurs when either: (a) both parties confirm to Troth that they have entered an exclusive relationship with each other; or (b) both parties agree to discontinue matchmaking because they are pursuing an exclusive relationship together.
Both limbs require confirmation from both parties, independently. Troth never infers success from silence, inactivity or second-hand information.
2. What it is never contingent on
Marriage, engagement, cohabitation or any milestone beyond the mutual, confirmed exclusive relationship. We do not monetise weddings.
3. Amounts
Select · Signature · Private Client — 15% of each tier's fee, optional, agreed in writing in the mandate before any search begins. No agreement, no bonus.
4. Timing and disputes
The bonus is invoiced only after both confirmations are received, with a [14-day — placeholder] window for either party to correct an error. Disputes are resolved under the mandate's governing law [per-jurisdiction clause for lawyer drafting].
DRAFT — prepared for lawyer review across the three launch jurisdictions (Italy/EU, United Kingdom, UAE/Dubai). Figures, periods and addresses in brackets are placeholders to be confirmed.
